The Wexford Naturalists Field Club was
formed in the Winter of 2004/5 by enthusiastic amateur naturalists
drawn from the Wexford area.
The brainchild of former caretaker Chairperson, Lorcan Scot,
Chris Wilson and Jason Monaghan, the field club continues
to grow and flourish under the guidance
Chair
Jim
Hurley.
The aims of the club are
simple, to promote and foster an interest in the natural environment,
and to educate and inform it's members through shared experience
and interests.
Meetings are held on the first Thursday of every month in
the Pump house at the Wexford Wildfowl Reserve at 8pm. Membership
of the WNFC is a modest €20 per year which entitles
members to attend monthly lectures* by guest speakers and
also to
attend regular field trips* organized by the club.
