Thursday 4th: “The Secret Life of Crows” by Ricky Whelan, BirdWatch Ireland. This will be replaced by Dave Daly, title to be confirmed later
Saturday 13th: Field trip to Rosslare Backstrand to see wildfowl and waders with Simon Collins.
Meet at 10am in the car park opposite the church in Rosslare (T096 157).
Thursday 1st: AGM at 7pm followed at 8pm by “High Nature Value Farmland: wildlife in the wider countryside” by Dr John Finn, Teagasc.
Saturday 10th: Field trip to Seal Rescue Ireland, Courtown Harbour. Meet at 2pm in the Leisure Centre car park in Courtown Harbour (T199 567).
Thursday 1st: Gerald Barrett–Hamilton Memorial Lecture “100 Years of Bat Research in Ireland” by Dr Caroline Shiel, Ecologist.
Saturday 10th: Bird watching at Tacumshin Lake with Dave Daly. Meet at 2pm in the car park at Sigginstown (T061 063).
Thursday 5th: “Wildlife in the Sinai Peninsula and the rare Sinai Hairstreak Butterfly” by Andrew Power, Wildlife Conservationist.
Saturday 14th: Nature walk at Lacken Hill with Edno Delaney. Meet at 11am at the entrance to Lacken Hill (S763 287).
Thursday 10th: 7pm at Wexford Town Library, Mallin St. (T047 219). (Note change of time and venue) Wexford Library’s Chris Wilson Memorial Lecture
“The Night Sky in Irish Folklore” by Seán Mac an tSíthigh, RTÉ /TG4.
Saturday 12th: Ireland’s Butterflies – Identification Workshop and Information Day with Dr Tomás Murray, National Biodiversity Data Centre. 10am to 4pm,
at The Pumphouse, Wexford Wildfowl Reserve (T076 239).
Sunday 13th: Dawn Chorus event with Dave Daly at Raven Wood Nature Reserve. Meet at 4.30am at the barrier entrance to the wood (T111 267).
Thursday 7th: “Wexford Beach Shells and Other Beach Combing Revelations” by Dr Jonathan Derham, WNFC member.
Saturday 9th: Beach combing field trip with Dr Jonathan Derham, WNFC member.in Ballinesker, Curracloe. Meet at 9.45 am in the car park in
Ballinesker (T117 288).
Thursday 5th: “Butterflies to Badgers: exploring the nature of Wicklow Mountains National Park” by Gillian Stewart, Supervisor Guide, Education Centre, WMNP
Saturday 14th: 10am-4pm. BioBlitz at Rosegarland Estate, Wellingtonbridge (S850 151).
Thursday 2nd: “A Wildflower Hunter’s Year” by Zoë Devlin, WNFC member.
Saturday 11th: Field trip to look at plants in Duncannon with Paula O’Meara and Paul Green. Meet at 10.30am in the car park beside the playground in Duncannon (S736 080).
Thursday 6th: “Hedgerows: history, mythology, wildlife corridors” by Eoin Donnelly, WNFC member.
Saturday 8th: Monitoring and assessing water quality in rivers with Dr Hugh Feeley, Environmental Protection Agency. Time & venue TBC.
Thursday 4th: “Wildlife Travels in the Arctic” by Jim Wilson, Ornithologist and Writer.

Thursday 6th: “Raven Wood Nature Reserve: past and present” by Dominic Berridge, Warden, Wexford Wildfowl Reserve.
Saturday 8th: Tintern Woods in winter with Marion Brady. Meet at 11am in the car park at Tintern Abbey (S793 101).
